“How do I prepare?”
- water bottle and snacks
- loose comfortable and clean clothing/socks
- quiet entertainment
- Plan Your Tattoo Day: plan optimistically as preparations and pain levels vary person to person; adding a minimum of one hour to your appointment is optimal
- a hearty meal beforehand always helps
- moisturize placement(s) as many nights possible leading up to your appointment
- sleep well
- drink plenty of water before your appointment
- wounds, cuts, bruises, sunburns
- strong fragrances or scents
- scheduling strenuous activities post tattoo
“Does it hurt?”
- Yes, it all hurts; some areas less than others but most people are fine
- Pain may be subjective and varies person to person depending on both mental and physical factors
- Hot Tip for the Ladies:
Menstruation generally causes more bleeding and pain for many; optional, but scheduling around your cycle can be more comfortable
“Can I bring a friend for support?”
- Unfortunately we are not allowing guests due to Covid-19; please request an accommodation in your booking form if absolutely necessary
“Can I use numbing cream?”
- Depends on the project, please request in advance via the booking form
