Kaman / “kaw-min“
嘉敏 “ga-mun” / (she/her)

I am a CBC (Chinese-Born-Canadian) multidisciplinary artist that specializes in illustrative tattooing and designing lasting stories. My process is gentle and collaborative for the most optimal outcome.

I love vintage cars
 With almost a decade of being a professional artist, Kaman is recognized for primarily fine-line, black-work tattooing and artworks reflecting her childhood. Hong Kong/CBC memories, ink calligraphy and everyday handwritten cursive to name a few. 

Kaman relocated to Victoria, BC in 2022 from Toronto, ON; expanding her clientele. 

While her portfolio is diverse, her primary focus remains on exploring the culture and arts of East Asia, deeply influenced by her experiences and philosophies as a CBC (Chinese-Born-Canadian). 

In addition, Kaman is always experimenting with other mediums including painting, calligraphy, digital art and illustration.

Other than art, Kaman is a tea snob that enjoys progressive techno, cooking, survival video games and surviving in the great outdoors.
