NOW BOOKING: JANUARY 2025




CUSTOMS:  



  • How To Book: review all info below before submitting a booking form
    • Approved Projects: check spam folder for an invoice with instructions to secure an appointment date that works for you
    • Denied: a response via form with be sent
    • Drawing Fee: a flat non-refundable fee is required to start on any drawing or handwriting (Small $50 to Large $100)
    • Estimates/Quotes: every project comes with a careful estimate which is how the deposit is calculated; updated accordingly if impactful changes made  
      helpful tip: the more detailed the form is, the closer the estimate!
    • Non-Refundable Deposit: a 50% deposit is invoiced to secure your requested appointment date; calculated from your careful estimate (e.g. 2 hour estimated session ($360) = 1 hour deposit ($180)
    • Design Process: all designs are given one necessary small revision at the start of the appointment; final drafts may be sent 48hrs before the appointment, but must be requested via booking form 
    • Large Projects: projects over 5+ hours will be given a discounted flat day rate 

 

FLASH:



  • How To Book:  
    • Step One: choose a limited flash design via FLASH
    • Step Two: complete the booking form with the desired flash design and deposit  
    • Step Three:  after completing your booking, you will receive a receipt along with a confirmation email to choose a date that works for you 
  • Important:  
    • Non-Repeatable: most works are only done once unless stated otherwise
    • Sizes & Prices: all designs have set prices and sizes; are readily available to be owned
    • Drawing Fees: none  
      Revised Flash: See something you like but its sold out? No problem, choose “Revised Flash” and I’ll be more than happy to draw you something similar!!
    • Final Costs: depends on final placement or external factors (e.g. difficult placements may require more time); estimates updated accordingly

  • Booking Forms: flash and custom each have their own form that denotes each process; linked below
  • Availability: Wednesday to Saturdays - 10:00AM to 6:00PM (Sundays and Mondays are limited)
  • Hourly Rate: all projects require a minimum of $180+gst per hour
  • Non-Refundable Deposits: a security deposit is required to secure your appointment date, and will be deducted from total  
  • Payments: all forms of payments are accepted; online and in person

  • Location: Black Cat Tattoo is located on (Google Maps) / 659 Johnson Street, V8W 2E8, BC lək̓ʷəŋən (Lekwungen) /// Downtown “Victoria”
    • accessibility: second floor studio, a wide staircase of ~15 steps and no elevator
    • 18+ with no exceptions (I.D required at door)
    • parking: on street and parkades available within walking distance
  • Reschedule Policy: limited up to two reschedules if 72 hours of notice is given; third will require a new deposit
    • 30 Minute Grace: if you are running late, please give us a heads up via email to deter forfeiting your deposit
